Seems like I gravitate towards posting while my wife's away. She's away on biz and I'm stuck, eyes glued to the tube watching the NHL playoffs.
I'm not too happy with tonight's results: Pens have opened a two-game cushion on the Sens bouncing to a 3 - 1 series lead after losing the home opener; similar story in Philly the team with the ugliest uniforms in the league - or any league for that matter - seem poised to strike down New Jersey who couldn't score if the net was the size of soccer goal; Nashville has opened a 3 -1 lead of its own in Game 3 versus Chicago.
It's times like these I'm glad I don't invest too much time to watching this game of putting the puck in da net. this is an emotional roller coaster I'd rather not ride.
What's the record for the greatest number of flip-flops? I'm sure we aren't near breaking it, whatever it is but if I wore out or lost three pairs in the next two years, I'd still have enough to make it throught a third year. Good thing about them is that if I DID decide to shoot for a world's record for owning the greatest number of these, I just might be able to afford it.
Our dog can sense when the family of three is not intact. Maybe not immediately but I'd say by tomorrow she will sense something is amiss.
I need to take off. There's a burger and a beer waiting for me at a buddy's place and I think the burger's got the Montreal Canadiens logo burned into it. Go Habs go!
