Yes, It's turkey day in the U.S.A and in between viewing Macy's parade pics, I've been watching The Godfather. Not exactly feel good, Thanksgiving Day material but, then again, the film does depict the Corleone's rise as a typical, Italian mafia family making its way in America and, for that, I celebrate it.
Day three of my week off work, and I'm enjoying the luxury of sitting in bed, sipping my morning coffee touched with a generous dollop of egg nog before I head to the gym for a workout.
I think I'll start to compile our family Christmas list later - among other things - and then inquire as to the status of our new TV; as of yesterday it was on back order. I'm hoping it'll arrive while I've got some time to get it set up and maybe - if I'm really lucky - be able to catch a part of one of the three NFL games on today--my wife will LOVE that.
And speaking of "my wife" I would like to congratulate her for finally staying off Facebook long enough to make her first posting!
Oh! Gotta go! Sounds like the dog is ready for a walk.
