My wife first suggested we start a wedding blog sometime following the BIG DAY ... It seemed, and still seems - like a good idea.
I had someone asked me the cliched question: "How's married life treating you?"
From my standpoint, life after marriage isn't much different than life before marriage. Yes, I now refer to her as "my wife," and I use phrases like, "this is my wife ..." or "my wife and I are looking for a TV ..."
We'd been living together for the past three years and dating for almost five so there really isn't anything that has been a surprise for us since we wed. Still, the idea of bringing together two people with unique backgrounds - people whose lives have taken them on a multitude of pathways and has provided them with an array of life experiences - can be a little mind-boggling if you think too much about it.
A few things I can say about our interests ... we share a love of wine, clothes, clothes shopping, food, dining out and spending time with our friends. As for dissimilarities well, perhaps I'd better let my wife field that one.
